Wit, Humour and True-Teen Living
The diary format that this book is written in is one that has been tried countless times by various writers, which mostly turn out boring or too much of a recount. This book writes the diary in a way that captures your attention and at no point leaves your bored, only laughing at its many humorous parts. In stead of recalling an entire day in each of her entries, Georgia Nicolson frequently writes in a more present tense style which pulls you along with her through her life as opposed to being shown it later. Her world is such a typical teenagers and totally relatable. It centres around the world of Georgia Nicolson a teenage girl living in England and the many humorous events that are her life. The fact that the book is set in England makes it very relatable to Australia's life and i like that they wear uniforms as we must do. Thats not to say that f she were in another country the book would be any wrose or that if you are from another country you wouldn't like it, you totally would no madder where you are in the world but the similarities between england and Australia just give it that little something extra. The story is even more interesting because they have actually happened to the write when she was a teenager, maybe not all of them but most. It is he first in a series of the confessions of Georgia Nicolson, all of which are equally as entertaining and get better with each book. Over all, it is a very entertaining and light read that will leave you amused and laughing all the way to the end.
