Have you ever heard of a magical preserve? A place to keep all magical creatures safe from people wanting to destroy them. There are five magical preserves and Fablehaven is one of them. Kendra and Seth go for a nice visit with their grandparents and little do they know that they will encounter amazing magic and also evil magic.

When they arrive, it is just a normal visit at first, but there grandfather sets clues for them to find out about the preserve on there own.

Viola's milk helps them to see the creatures. Viola is a giant cow by the way. :)

Fablehaven is in trouble when on midsummer's eve Seth opens a window as instructed not to and lets in bad creatures. Now they must save Fablehaven and their grandfather from the evil.

Kendra finds the fairy queen and gets help from her, and together they all....well, read it and find out what happens yourself.

I recommend this book to anyone that like Harry Potter or other fantasy books. It is a great adventure, and there are other books too as it is a series.

Dig a little deeper into the magical world and see what we are missing from being closeminded. Open your mind to the possibilities and pull yourself intop the story.

All in all, great read.
