a page turner

From the first page the action starts and never relents until the very last. Panic is one of those books where the chapters are short and each one ends with a cliffhanger.

Although the story can be a little far-fetched at times it never attempts to convince you otherwise. It turns out the protagonist Evan Casher has been living a life of fabrication and lies his whole life and from the moment he discovers this and as each startling truth comes to light his resolve is tested further and further.

I was unable to put it down. What a great way to escape for while.
