Sense someone watching you, or sense someone inside you...

Charley Ditton, is lying in a hospitol bed. And according to her brother Hal, she is half dead. No one is completely sure what happened to her. It was an accident, a terrible accident. Hal doesn't want to be near her, but when his family decides to leave her and go to Cornwall without her, he can't get her out of his mind. Or his body.

At Cornwall for another summer of the beach and sun. But it isn't the same without Charley. Hal hears her breathing. In. Out. In. Out. Like the ocean waves. He can't shake it, no matter how much he wants to.

He wants to remember what happened that night, the night of Charley's accident. He saw, he knew. But he pushed it so far out of his mind that he can't remember without his sister's help. Or Jackie's, Pete's sister.

Jack helps Hal discover love and loss. And Pete and Am go to the last place Pete ever saw and talked to Charley. Hal follows and Charley goes through him to get to Pete before she moves on. She tells the story and we all know the truth.

It was just a terrible accident.

It was a very good book. A little weird, but it's my kind of weird and I really liked it. One of the best I've ever read. I cried at the end when Charley died, but i think I knew it was going to happen. If you like teen love stories with drama I definately reccomend this book to you. It keeps you wondering until the very end, and even after that.
