I read this book as the text to my Naturopathy class in college. I've heard it referred to as the Naturopathic Bible and I think that is a perfectly fitting title. I would recommend it to anyone interesting in alternative medicine. The only down side I could see is the fact that it is and extremely large book. It would be perfect to have as a reference for anyone interesting in herbs, dietary supplements, or other alternative therapies.

I love Chuck Palahnuik's book's and this was no exception. It was a fast read and both funny and twisted like most of his books are. I am now starting another one of his book's "Stranger than Fiction" which is one of his non-fiction works. I will hopefully write a review for this one soon.

I liked the book, although at times I felt a little challenged by the different writing style. I wouldn't read it more than once but I would recommend it to someone who was looking for a less than conventional read.

A train wreck of a book. The only reason I finished it was because I spent $12 on it.
