Some books find a nich to fulfill within the reader and like 'Bleed' this one does not wow me in any way. I skimmed my way through the last half of the book because the characters and plot bored me. For obvious reasons the cover and plot summary will entice certain readers. However, don't give up on Kathleen Jeffrie Johnson. I highly recommend her psychological thriller 'A Fast and Brutal Wing' which both horrifies and intrigues the reader.
