Wow, these stories are intense depictions of poor whites living in Ohio. Drug use, sexual perversions, and just plain defective gene pools make this an over-the-top read. Not for the faint of heart, don't read them while you are eating anything, but of the higest literary caliber.

An excellent book about the recent history of the Supreme Court, very readable and extremely well-researched. Highly recommended.

This is a first novel by Stephen King's son, Joe Hill. It has some of King's style, and that's good in a way, but I would like Hill to try to experiment with style a bit more. This book is absolutely not for the weak of stomach - very grisly and gory, but a wild ride for sure.
