Do you enjoy relaxing with friends sipping tea and discussing your latest reads? Then this is the group for you! It's true that I started this group for the selfish purpose of working on a project (that I hope you might help me with!) - but given the infusion of tea drinking in excellent books and readers who drink tea, I think this will be a great place to recommend books and tea!

Max says:

Wow, I'm impressed by the book tie-ins to tea that you have collected. I'll be looking for additions myself from now on.

Obligatory tea reference: I'm currently drinking Assam as I write this post. Our campus coffee shop has an excellent selection of loose teas.

Second Obligatory tea reference: we buy our tea from specialteas.com. They have a blend of Yunnan and Assam called Mount Everest that has become our standard morning beverage.

Lately, I have been drinking Lady Grey which is a lovely mix of Earl Grey and flower infusions like rose! And I get it from the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. Hmmm.... I'm gonna go make a cuppa right now!

I thought your pairings of tea with books was an absolutely lovely idea! And as soon as I match a book to the oolong I'm drinking right now, I'll get back to you.

Sundance says:

What was the last comforting book you read while sipping a cup of tea? Mine was Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons - very funny. I also like a good crime novel with a cuppa. I expect my next will be Exit Music by Rankin or the new Henning Mankell.

What about you?
