I wonder whether there are any other members from this part of the world! I am a librarian by profession, though I think I was an avid reader long before working in libraries and information. My reading is pretty eclectic - depending partly on what is available - either in my work environment, at local bookshops (rather limited) or through a local book club to which I belong.

hi nina....i dont think i have ever been to ghana...however, i am just about to order a book via amazon.com by an angolan author called Jose Eduardo Agualusa. Very favourable reviews of his stuff. I can't wait.
