Would it be possible to merge books where they have been reviewed by more than one user? For instance, The Dice Man has two reviews on Revish at the moment. It would be good if these were merged, so that you could see both of the reviews from viewing just one of the copies, as well as any comments, or other data.

This already happens to an extent - at the top of the sidebar for each of those reviews it lists the Revish reviews for the book and the rating. Tags should be aggregated and will be in due course.
I don't think presenting all full reviews for a book on the same page is going to happen - I want each review to stand on its own, and there is an easy, at-a-glance way to see other reviews as things are. Unless I'm persuaded otherwise. :-)

Ah, yes I see what you mean - the site is structured from the point of the reviews rather than the books? That particular example is okay because there are just two added so far. Does this mean that say when you have more users who have all added in their Harry Potters, these will be listed as multiples because the copy is specific to a user and specific to that user's review?
Sorry if I'm not explaining this very well! I haven't been able to spend as much time as I'd like browsing around here yet - you're doing a great job so far :)

I think you might be talking about edition disambiguation - so if you review an edition of a Harry Potter book, and someone else reviews a different edition, your concern is to ensure they are connected in some way?
We use a service called xISBN to match editions to each other (LibraryThing have a better service but we're not allowed to use it, which is another story). Here's how Revish is structured:
Every book (work) has its own, single page, eg: Saturday by Ian Mcewan. If you look at the address of this page you'll see it's /books/ISBN/. ISBN can be the ISBN-10 or ISBN-13 of any edition of that book, and the same page will display. A book's page shows all the interaction on Revish for all the editions of that book, so for Saturday it shows your review and that it's on happenchance's reading list.
The same applies to reviews, which are in the form /reviews/ISBN/username/.
Hope this helps, it's been designed so you don't have to worry about these details. That said there will be some situations where xISBN doesn't connect editions, and these cases I'll manually match them.

It was something slightly different, but I've checked again and paid attention to the wording this time! Clicking on the books tab and searching for a title at the left, you get multiples of the title, if it has more than one review. However, I can now see that this search result is for reviews rather than books - it just confused me that the books were showing in multiples rather than there just being the one title for the search result and the reviews coming off that, if that makes any sense. Thanks for your reply.
