Groups / Revish / Feature requests / DNF: Did Not Finish

cherrypj says:
I love reading, but not so much I'll sit there and slog through a book that's just not doing it for me. Life is too long.
I'm using Revish as a way to track my book consumption, including books I picked up, read a little, and then, for whatever reason (including throwing it across the room with great force), stopping. But there's no way for me to indicate that I didn't finish, other than in the notes section. I also don't feel good giving a book a rating if I didn't finish it.
How about a "I started this book on XX/YY/ZZZZ, but did not finish. Here's why" section on the Reading History page?
I don't know if you would incorporate DNF into the average rating of the book. "Average rating: 4.5/5. 10 people did not finish this book."

Just posting to say I'd like this feature too!

I'd love to see this feature, too. At the moment I'm dealing with DNFs by giving them a rating based on what I did read and putting my reasons for stopping in the "comments" field, but like cherrypj I feel awkward doing it. :-)

I'm listening, honestly! Sounds like a great idea - I'll add it as soon as I can, which will hopefully be within a week.

cherrypj says:
That's great! I'm happy to report that I've hit a string of books that I'm loving (and finishing!).

Max says:
I was just thinking that I would like this feature also. There are not many that I don't finish but there are enough that it would be a useful list to have.
