Groups / The Lounge / Events / National Poetry Day 2007 in Edinburgh

canongatebooks says:
National Poetry Day brings you the Dream Tour -- an opportunity to see four of our finest living poets performing from their work on stage.
Representing Wales, England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, the voices of Gywneth Lewis, Patience Agbabi, Gearóid MacLachlainn and Robert Crawford will bring contemporary poetry vividly alive in the UK’s capital cities during the first week of October.
They will be in Edinburgh tomorrow night, 3 October, at 7:30pm. The venue is the Scottish Storytelling Centre, 45 High Street, EH1 1SR.
Please show your support for our nation's poets if you can. Tickets are £8 (£5 concession).
(Canongate Books does not have any business connection with National Poetry Day, but Patience Agbabi is one of the poets we're privileged to publish.)

I'm stuck in London all week otherwise I'd have gone.
Did you have a good night?
canongatebooks says:
It was GREAT. All the poets were different (1. droll; 2. musician; 3. incredibly expressive; 4. funny), so kept everyone entertained. It was almost a full house as well.
