danchamp says:
A woman warrior and her passionate pirate learn what true love is after they conquer the vengeance in their hearts.
Adam and Eve in the garden of terrorism. Like that famous first couple, our hero and heroine start out as innocent babes. Don’t be taken in by their seeming sophistication.
Just imagine: Your entire family was slaughtered in political murder. For a different political agenda in a faraway land, your lover’s family was murdered too. You meet, you fall in "love", but something is wrong. You both want real love and family life, but you each want vengeance even more. The two murdered families must be avenged!
These star-crossed lovers search for more than a decade to find a way to purge the hate from their hearts, and make room for love.
THIS MAN AND THIS WOMAN KNOW THEY ARE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER, BUT THEY ARE KEPT APART BY SOMETHING GREATER THAN THEMSELVES.
It is 1983. The IRA wants the British out of Ireland, and their country united. After her family is murdered, our Kathleen takes an oath of vengeance and joins the IRA. Omar, who will angrily tell you he is not Iranian but Persian, is a pirate, gun runner, swindler on the high seas, and proud owner of a swift battleship that radar can’t see. His ancestors were all pirates, going way back. Omar continues in that tradition, but with modern ways. His dream: he’ll do anything to reclaim his family’s island off the coast of Iran, which the Shah stole from them when Omar was a boy.

I still haven't received it.

silentdesperation says:
I received this book today. I'm still reading another book but I will try to get to it soon. They even send chocolates and a tiny bottle of liquor along with the book. Which I found to be a little humorous.

silentdesperation says:
Dan,
I have a long reading list already and although I know I commited to review the book I have been getting bombarded with school work lately. I don't see myself getting this book read and reviewed anytime soon. Therefore, I was wondering if you would rather have me send it along to someone else you might know who would be interesting in reading and reviewing it?
